The invention relates to building elements for wall and ceiling structures.
The purpose of the invention is to improve the performance of the element.
The drawing shows the construction element, the cross section.
The building element includes an insulating plate 1 made of expanded polystyrene or polyurethane, outer metal sheets 2 and 3, and an additional insulating layer 4 made of chipboard, located closely between the outer sheet 2 and insulating feed. The element shown in the drawing can perceive the external fire effect from the side shown by the arrow 5.
The proposed element may include another additional layer 4 between the outer sheet 3 and the insulating plate 1, as a result of which the element can resist fire on one or both sides.
When exposed to fire in the direction of arrow 5, the temperature of the outer metal sheet 2 quickly rises, causing it to warp. Thus, the carrying capacity of sheet 2 is significantly reduced. At the same time, the temperature of the additional sheet 4 greatly increases. However, due to the fact that sheet 2 is tightly fixed on the outer surface of sheet 4 and the joints between the various elements are also made as dense as possible, the wood-shaving board does not light up, but begins to char. Charring occurs rather slowly with a low oxygen content; therefore, the charred layer retains its insulating properties. Thus, the additional layer 4 can retain its carrying capacity for a certain fire time.
Due to the preservation of the insulating properties of the additional layer 4 when it is carbonized under conditions of lack of oxygen, the temperature on the surface of the insulating plate 1 does not reach the temperature at which, for example, polystyrene becomes gaseous (about 100 ° C). Therefore, the insulating plate 1 maintains its close contact with the additional sheet 4 and the outer sheet 2, and the element as a whole retains its carrying capacity for a certain time.
The thickness of the additional insulating layer of chipboard may vary depending on the required amount of fire resistance.

Invention Formula
A sandwich building element containing an insulating slab of
styrene foam or polyurethane foam, an outer metal sheet fixed on at least one surface of the insulating plate, and an additional insulating layer located between the outer sheet and the insulating plate on the side of external heat, characterized by the fact that, in order to improve performance, an additional insulating the layer is made of chipboard.
